I have never gone to therapy to find out the how’s and why’s that explain my disdain of dogs.  I cannot stand their noses touching my skin, it just makes me nauseous.  That being said I have two kids who really wanted a dog.  I suggested a cat but I started thinking about the liter box and the cat hair and decided that no, I didn’t want a cat.  After some serious reflection I decided to put aside childhood memories and put the past into the past and get the kids a dog.

I decided on a small dog, a shih-tzu.  She’s the cutest thing but there’s one little problem…she has to be groomed.  If she doesn’t get groomed she turns into a smelly ball of hair.  Sorry to be yucky but poop gets stuck to the hair and then she can’t poop.  This make bath time really gross!  I had enough of those stinky baths and her smell even after a bath so I took her to get a hair cut.

She looks hilarious!  I love it!  So here’s a picture of Bunny after we first got her and then today after her hair cut (next time I’m going to get the before and after) –

  1. You should be turned in to the Humane Society for this!! This borders on the line of….oh, I dunno….hilariously cruel?

Bunny looks like she had a rough night on the corner, if you know what I mean. *wink wink*

  2. I know what you mean, lol. She’s got a bowl cut with a bit of a mowhawk. It’ll be better next time…which is in 6 weeks.
